Innwaya โ€” Gmail to Tasks

Last updated: September 30, 2026

Innwaya By BrightPath provides the Innwaya โ€” Gmail to Tasks Chrome extension to help authorized users save selected emails, screenshots, attachments, and webpage content to their Innwaya workspace. This policy describes data handled through the extension. Contact us at hp71991@gmail.com with privacy questions or requests.

Information the extension handles

When you capture Gmail, the extension checks these identifiers against accessible tasks in your selected hotel and shows linked tasks for your review. Original messages are kept once per chosen task in Sources; later captures can add new messages. This check does not scan the mailbox or synchronize replies automatically.

Calendar entries and reminders

When you choose Add to calendar, the extension reads the selected email and supported calendar attachments to extract a title, date, optional times, time zone, organizer, invitation identifiers, meeting link and source email link. Clear invitations may be saved immediately by this action; uncertain details are shown for review. You can also create dated tasks without capturing email. Task and event times are optional.

If you choose a reminder, Innwaya stores its delivery time and channels and delivers a task or event summary and links to your Innwaya Inbox and your signed-in Innwaya account email through its configured Google mail service. Task assignment does not change the reminder recipient. The extension does not send mail through the Gmail session open in your browser. Importing a calendar entry does not RSVP or continuously synchronize an external calendar.

How information is used

The extension uses this information to preview your capture, create or update your selected task, assign a teammate, upload selected files, verify the saved result, and recover interrupted saves. Capturing an email or screenshot first creates a local draft. Clicking Save sends the reviewed content and task choices to Innwaya.

The extension uses your existing Gmail and Innwaya sign-in sessions. It does not ask you to enter passwords into the extension or copy session tokens into its draft storage. Browsers and the signed-in websites handle authentication when requests are made.

The extension does not include advertising trackers, continuous browsing monitoring, keystroke logging, or background inbox scanning. We do not sell data obtained through the extension or use it for advertising, determining creditworthiness, or lending decisions.

Where information goes and who can access it

Gmail and Google's attachment services provide the email and attachment content you capture. When you save, your selected content is sent through Innwaya's authenticated services, including its Supabase backend and storage. Innwaya's hosting and service providers process requests necessary to deliver the service.

Saved email text, screenshots, custom field values, and files become workspace task content. People with permission to view that task, including authorized teammates and administrators, may be able to see them. Assigning one person does not necessarily make a task private to that person.

We restrict use and transfer of extension data to providing and supporting this task-saving feature, maintaining security, and meeting applicable legal obligations. Operator access to specific captured content is limited to user-authorized support, security investigations, or legal requirements. Innwaya โ€” Gmail to Tasks follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Storage and retention

Before saving, captured content and attachment bytes are stored locally in the extension's storage within your Chrome profile. Interrupted saves preserve that draft so you can review and recover them.

After a fully verified save, the extension removes the captured email text, sender list, source URL, screenshot image contents and source URLs, and attachment contents from the local draft. A temporary save record remains, including your Innwaya account email, task identifiers and title, capture timestamps, task choices, any additional notes you entered, and attachment receipt metadata. This record supports confirmation and duplicate prevention.

Calendar save records retain event details, source email link, account identity and reminder choices for confirmation and duplicate prevention. Captured email text is cleared after a verified calendar save.

Local drafts and save records expire after 24 hours without an update. Expired data is removed the next time the extension checks its storage, including on a subsequent browser startup; removal is not an exact 24-hour timer. You can clear the stored draft or save record using the extension's Clear, Discard local draft, or Start another task controls, as available.

Information already saved to Innwaya remains part of the workspace's records until removed through the portal or by an authorized administrator, subject to applicable retention requirements. Discarding a local draft or uninstalling the extension does not delete tasks, comments, or files already saved to Innwaya, including any part of an interrupted save.

Security and your choices

The extension communicates with Gmail and Innwaya over HTTPS and checks the signed-in Innwaya account before saving. Workspace access is subject to Innwaya's permissions. Local drafts use Chrome profile storage; the extension does not add a separate encryption layer to those drafts.

You choose when to capture and save. Review the email preview, screenshot thumbnails, attachment list, custom field values, and destination before saving. You can remove files from a draft, discard the capture, or disable or uninstall the extension to stop further access. Save only content you are authorized to share with the selected workspace.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information saved through the extension, contact your workspace administrator or email hp71991@gmail.com. Include enough information to identify the relevant workspace or task, but do not send passwords. We may need to verify your identity and authority before acting on a request.

Changes and contact

We will update this page when these practices change and revise the date above. For questions about this policy or the extension's handling of your information, email hp71991@gmail.com.
